Great replacement part I got this filter for a Kenmore Elite HE4 Gas Dryer. The felt that goes around the edge of the original filter started to come loose.The filter screen appears to be made out of metal. It seems to hold onto the lint a little more when cleaning. The middle bar is new and until I get used to it the bar will tend to get in the way when cleaning the filter.Other reviewers mentioned the felt strip that doesn’t stick out as much as on the original filter.
